[NGHH'11 - glitchs2d vs MadFLeX]

Madflex had more charisma. He also got more personal. Glitch isn't bad but compared to Madflex, Glitch sounds monotone. Flex has good flow and tone. Glitch had some good bars and great flow, but didn't have the tone to back it up: "You couldn't even win if you got jesus on ya side." Madflex is more original though: "What's a glitch? A little problem with a short life, I'll leave him twitching permanently flicking like a porch light."

[NGHH'11 - Nimbus vs Cynic]

Nimbus ftw

Cynic attacks hard as fuck. He is cruel, (which is good) but after hearing it a few times, it gets boring. Nice flow. "droppin the soap" was a good one. The myspace reference was good. Nice rhymes also.
Nimbus' verses were complex. It's the type of rap you gotta listen to a couple times to get everything (in a good way). Nimbus had good word-play: "You up and coming, busting ya nut cuz you got no stamina." I didn't like the anime references so much. Nimbus had more originality though and that's why my vote goes for him. We need original artists to advance.

Ockeroid's second verse was intense. "don't call me a pussy, it is something you never seen. That's why your first child's gonna stay unborn, until you learn how to have sex outside of porn."
Grim had a nice flow but his attacks were weak and generic. The only powerful bar from grim was: "the only sin was your mom giving birth to you."
Ockeroid was creative.
oh yeah, and in ockeroid's first verse: "With a diss like that you deserve the nobel prize."

[NGHH'11 - Q-sik vs Glitch]

Funny Battle

Q-Sik was a bit funny (in a good way) in his delivery. Weak tone though. Mentioning 8mile was lame as hell.
I like Glitch's delivery also. It's tight how he jumped on the mic pop lol He immediately jumped on that. Glitch talkin about shooting and "moving on to the fists" is weak. Anyone can say that. Be more creative.
I like the disses about West and South, but damn Glitch came back with that "South N***az Lip-Lock."

[NGHH'11 - Cynic vs HeIsAlive]

Nice Battle

Alive doesn't attack hard. He doesn't get personal. I like both yall styles though. On Alive's last verse, he spent bars explaining how Cynic was right about how Alive recycled. Alive complimented Cynic: "I must admit that was a well-played tactic."

This may be coincidence, but it seemed like Alive got some ideas from two other second rap battles. IconicIcon said "The only hazardous material is the sore on your lip" to gasmasq, and Alive said: "on your lip, I can see a shit stain." He also said: "He collapsed and I picked him back up just to send him to a relapse," and Glitch told Q-Sik: "You only did a second verse cuz I raised you from the dead to have a little fun and then murder you again."

Cynic was more direct. He seemed like he was battling. Alive seemed like he was collaborating.

self has better flow. steve sounds monotone, especially on his second verse. self has a couple of lines that made me chuckle.

[NGHH'11 - Gasmasq vs ICON]

great battle!!!

gasmasq1- nice flow in verse one. at some point he was hard to hear.
icon1- harder disses, clear flow. "hazardous material" reference was nice.
gasmasq2- not too hard on the disses, but good flow.
icon2- great rhymes. got em good with the mixtape dl's with different emails!!! that was sick.
i gotta give it to icon for the 2nd verse where he said that gasmasq downloaded his own music lmao. icon got more personal.
